Dear Ed and Sue,
Thank you so much for your generous and unexpected gift of dinner in Toronto last week. I (Brenda) had slipped to the restroom and was unaware of your lovely gift until later. While unnecessary, we appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness very much. We are sorry we didn't have much opportunity to visit with you that evening. However, spending time renewing friendships and catching up on life and family is always refreshing. May you have a delightful summer and enjoy your grandkids whenever you can!
