I hope the following words of prayer bring comfort to you in your time of bereavement.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)

“O gracious God, who abundantly supplies every need, BAJ come before you on behalf of our grieving colleague and her family. In a time of mourning, needs are great. In sorrow, bring peace. In despair, bring hope. In loneliness, bring the comforts of your Spirit. In sadness, bring healing and joy. May you dear Father grant our colleague endurance in the midst of this great sorrow. Even still, help her to be mindful of you and endure in faith as she grieves.”

In the name of the one who bore our grieves and carried our sorrows, I ask that you would grant every need of our mourning coleague, according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Amen.”
