A month full of sorrows,
Yet memories were made.
My heart was left hollow,
Words cut deeper than a blade;
Waiting for the arrival of tomorrow,
But tomorrow came unchanged.

Shortest month of the year,
Somehow the most lingering.
All that remained was a silent tear;
Attention was withering,
Nothing else was clear.
Among all the sadness, happiness was ringing.
