25th of December.

The day in which the Christian community largely agreed to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

The tale of Jesus Christ teaches us not only of his birth, but also of his immaculate conception.

It tells us of how Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem to find that upon their arrival, there was no space and they were only able to stay in a manger and it was this very night that Mary gave birth to Jesus.

Three shepherds were informed of Jesus' birth by an Angel and Three Wise Men came to know about the birth of Jesus Christ through a dream. Both the Shepherds and the Three Wise Men travelled to Bethlehem to witness the birth.

The Three Wise Men presented Jesus with three gifts; Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. This is where the act of giving presents at Christmas can be traced back to.

Alternatively, we also have the story of King Herod, who was aware of the prophecy of Jesus and actively tried to prevent it by killing new-borns.

All of this and more is what makes the story of Christmas and the event in which many people Celebrate.

So from the Home office, we would like to wish all our colleagues a Merry Christmas!
