My Beloved Baby Juicea,
As Christmas envelops us, gratitude fills my heart for the precious gift of your love. In the spirit of the season, I reflect on the story of Simeon and Anna, devout individuals who awaited the Messiah's arrival in the temple (Luke 2:25-38).
Simeon, righteous and devout, had been promised by the Holy Spirit that he would see the Lord's Christ before his death. Upon holding baby Jesus, he praised God, declaring, "For my eyes have seen your salvation" (Luke 2:29-30, ESV).
Anna, an elderly prophetess, also recognized Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah and shared this news with those awaiting Jerusalem's redemption (Luke 2:38).
Just as Simeon and Anna found fulfillment in the Messiah's arrival, I find immeasurable joy in you, my Baby Juice. Your presence completes and fulfills my life.
This Christmas, I thank God for the gift of you. May our hearts resonate with the awe and gratitude felt by Simeon and Anna in the presence of the infant Jesus. May our love continue to shine as a beacon of hope, echoing the divine love mirrored in Christ's birth.
